Kerry Jordan Stevenson ADCRG
Kerry began dancing at the age of four years old at a local Irish dance school encouraged by her mother who was a highland dance teacher.
She had a very successful competitive career in Festival Irish dance winning the prestigious titles of Northern Ireland and Ulster Champion which she retained for over 15 years.
She continued her love of Irish dancing touring Europe, America, Mexico, Russia and Israel with the National Dance Company of Ireland and even performed with Dolly Parton during a residency at Dollywood, Tennessee.
On her return she completed her TCRG and founded Jordan Academy of Irish Dance in 2011. She has also completed her ADCRG.
Kirsty Jordan
Kirsty began dancing at a very young age following in the foot steps of her three older siblings. She began her competitive career at two years old at a local Irish dance school and never looked back.
Kirsty like her older sister Kerry started her competitive career in festival style Irish dance becoming the youngest Ulster Champion at 6 years old. She also won the Northern Ireland and Ulster championships multiple times before progressing her dancing onto feis style Irish dancing. Kirsty continued her success streak in CRDM and WIDA becoming , x6 All Ireland, x3 European and x3 World Champion. In CLRG she became x3 Ulster Champion, x2 Irish National Champion and placed in the top five in the All Ireland, Great British and British National Championships and placed 4th at the CLRG World Championships in Glasgow.
Kirsty now travels the world dancing with professional dance company, Rhythm of the Dance. To date she has toured China,Europe, America, United Kingdom, Russia and Israel.
When Kirsty returns home between tours she loves teaching at Jordan Academy and plans to complete her TCRG in the near future.
Chloe Dunlop TCRG
Chloe started Irish dancing at the age of four as her mum had a love for dancing.
Chloe competed in many competitions over the years and was very successful. She became British and Ulster Champion, She came 3rd place in the World Championships and ended her competitive dance journey on a high winning the All Ireland Championships.She no longer competes but loves to travel and perform in displays.
After her competitive wins Chloe aspired to be a teacher and went on to complete her TCRG as she wanted to pass on her love for dance to the next generation and now loves teaching in Jordan Academy.
Janette Jordan
Janette began dancing at the age of five at the May Hughes School of Dance in Scotland. She trained in various styles of dance such as highland, tap and modern dance.
She had a successful competitive career in Highland dancing regularly competing at the Highland Games. She won many awards in her dancing days and progressed to completed her highland dance teachers examination.
She passed her love of dance onto her children when she moved to Ireland without which Jordan Academy would not exist today.
